CLARINETTO - Ib Hausmann - 20.08/26.08

Ib Hausmann suona sia il clarinetto classico, in mi bemolle, il clarinetto basso ed il corno di bassetto. Ha studiato a Berlino con Ewald Koch e con il pianista del Beaux Arts Trio, Menahem Pressler, a Banff. Il suo background culturale è stato influenzato anche da G. Kurtag. Ancora ventenne è stato il primo clarinetto della Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, e due anni dopo della Staatskapelle di Berlino. Vincitore di numerosi concorsi internazionali, incluso il primo premio TIJI radio dell’UNESCO, ha suonato nei più importanti teatri del mondo. Ha suonato in duo con artisti di fama internazionali ed in formazioni di quartetto d’archi con gli Hagen, Casals, Auryn, Vogler e gli Orion. Con Lucas Hagen ha fondato l’Ensemble Serapion. Ha al suo attivo numerosi lavori discografici: nel 2008 il disco registrato per la Deutsche Grammophon è stato nominato ai “Grammy Awards”. Recentemente ha suonato con il pianista Christoph Ullrich per 20000 bambini in Austria, Giappone e Colombia nelle vesti di “clarinettista Pierrot” (www.ohrwurm-project).

Ib Hausmann, who plays both the classical clarinet an the E-flat, bass clarinet and bassett horn, studied in berlin with Ewald Koch and with the pianist of the Beaux Arts Trio, Menahem Pressler, in Banff. His cultural development was also influenced by György Kurtag. At twenty Mr. Hausmann was the principal clarinetist of the Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, and two years later he won the same position with the Staatskapelle in Berlin. A first prize winner in international competitions, including the TIJI radio competition of UNESCO, he has appeared in leading music centres of the world. He played in duo with famous musicinas and string quartets ensembles, including the Hagen, Casals, Auryn, Vogler, and Orion. With Lukas Hagen he founded the Ensemble Serapion. He mad many recors: one for Deutsche Grammophon was nominated for the "Grammy" award in 2008. Recently he has been performing with the pianist Christoph Ullrich for 20000 children in Germany, Austria, Japan and Colombia as a "clarinet-speaking" Pierrot (www.ohrwurm-project).
